Conferences and Events

The private function room can seat up to 65 delegates. It has two access points and opens onto a private veranda.
We also make use of our lounge for smaller groups (up to 35 delegates) and screen the room off from other lodge guests. This space also opens onto its own private veranda.
For very small groups (up to 8 delegates) we make use of our chalets, for a more intimate setting. Teas and coffees are provided on the veranda. Light lunches are served at the main lodge.
2011 rates
The price per person is N$280 and includes the venue hire, morning tea and coffee with biscuits, a light lunch at midday and afternoon tea and coffee with biscuits. Jugs of juice are available at N$30 per jug. Other drinks can be arranged from the bar.
Accommodation booked for conference guests
Any accommodation booked for guests whilst conferencing at River Crossing will automatically receive a 10% discount on the normal rates.

Weddings and parties

River Crossing has become a popular venue choice for wedding receptions and birthday parties. As the lodge is a very intimate setting, pre-booking is essential to guarantee your exclusive use of the facilities.
A venue charge of N$10 000.00 will guarantee your exclusive use of our facilities.

These prices DO NOT include bar, curio, telephone, laundry or activity purchases.
These prices also DO NOT include the 10% service charge which will be automatically added to any quotations.
The normal cut-off time for all functions is midnight…a service charge of N$500.00 per hour will be charged for each hour after midnight.
Children 4 and under sharing with their parents are free of charge, on a b&b basis
Sundowners and cocktail parties.
Various options are available here and are subject to availability…reservations are essential.
